Duck Race 2018

The 2018 duck race was a huge success! Thanks to our vast array of generous sponsors and the 1600+ people who bought tickets, we raised a net amount of over $18,000 that will support local and international charity efforts over the next year. Beneficiaries will include:
- St. Marys Children's Theatre: Providing education in music and drama for local youth.
- Wee Read Camden (Dolly Parton's Imagination Library): Providing books for preshool-age children to promote literacy.
- Methodist Home for Children and Youth: Providing shelter and support for youth in crisis.
- Georgia Rotary Student Program: Sponsoring international college students to study in GA for a year, promoting peace and understanding across nations.
- Scholarship for Service: Awarding a scholarship to a Camden County High School student in recognition of community service.
- Fill-the-Bag Campaign: Collecting and delivering food to the Salvation Army food bank each fall.
- Rotary Foundation: Promoting peace; fighting disease; providing clean water, sanitation, and hygiene; saving mothers and children; supporting education; growing local economies.
