Duck Race 2020

The annual Rotary Duck Race, held during the Woodbine Crawfish Festival, is our major fundraiser for the Rotary Foundation. This year, due to the festival cancellation, we selected the winner using a drawing instead of the usual duck race. The important thing is that the fundraiser still happened and our sponsors are more important than ever!

After prizes and expenses, all funds raised for this event will support the charitable mission of our club's foundation. This mission includes support for the Georgia Rotary Student Program, contributions to The Rotary Foundation, and direct grants to local charities. For 2020, the primary local beneficiaries were:

  • Wee Read (Dolly Parton's Imagination Library): $5000
